What protection classes do hearing protection systems offer?

Hearing protection systems are often classified by SNR (Single Number Rating), which indicates how much noise in decibels (dB) they can reduce. Higher SNR ratings provide greater protection and are suitable for extremely loud environments. Many tactical hearing protection systems have SNR ratings between 20 and 30 dB.

How do I care for and clean my hearing protection?

Ear cups and pads should be cleaned regularly with a damp cloth and dried in the air. Electronic components and the PTT system should be stored in a dry place and protected from moisture. If the headset is used intensively, replacement pads for the hearing protection can be purchased.

What is the difference between a headset with and without PTT?
