Salomon QUEST 4D GTX FORCES 2 EN

The Quest 4D GTX Forces 2 ENs are advanced trekking boots developed by Salomon with high quality materials and advanced technologies.
Primarily designed for hiking and trekking, their sophisticated design and high level of comfort also make them suitable for military applications and everyday use.
The Quest 4D GTX Forces 2 ENs are made from nubuck leather, Cordura, rubber and high-quality polymers in a non-reflective tan/coyote color palette. The boots use several modern technologies and patented solutions. These include the Contagrip® sole, Sensifit™ and 4D Advanced Chassis™, the Gore-Tex membrane and the Ortholite® footbed.
The Contagrip®AT sole is injection-molded from high-quality rubber and offers a balanced yet discreet grip that ensures optimal performance on any terrain. The Energy Cell foam used reduces vibrations and shocks and minimizes the load on the shoe. The 4D Advanced Chassis is located between the outsole and the midsole and ensures optimized motion control and energy management.
The collar, padding and tongue are made of anti-distrust mesh reinforced with nubuck and Cordura inserts and a reinforced rubberized toe and heel cap. The rear part of the shoe and the outer heel cap feature a vertical section of additional fabric to better stabilize the ankle. The Sensifit™ construction provides foot stabilization and an exceptional fit for the best comfort during prolonged use. The Gore-Tex membrane increases breathability, water resistance and moisture transport. The upper is also treated with a water-repellent coating to protect it from rain and showers. Medial protective pads are sewn into the inside of the sole to provide better protection during fast abseiling.
The soft lining with Ortholite® insoles guarantees maximum comfort, high breathability and long-term shock absorption. The applied antimicrobial coating prevents bad odors and reduces odor-causing bacteria.
A traditional lacing system allows the boots to be laced up quickly and easily. The materials used and the reinforced lance hole construction ensure that the system is highly wear-resistant and long-lasting.
