Collection: Headlamps

Headlamps are ideal when you want to keep both hands free, for example when climbing, hiking or working in the dark. They are worn on the head and provide broad, even illumination that moves with the field of vision. Headlamps are particularly suitable for moving activities.

Brightness is measured in lumens. For general outdoor applications, 100-300 lumens is sufficient, while tactical use often requires higher brightness of 500 lumens or more. Headlamps for camping and hiking usually offer 50-200 lumens, which is sufficient for most applications.

Many models are waterproof or splash-proof and have an IP rating (eg IPX4 for splash protection, IPX7 for short-term immersion). Check the manufacturer's waterproof rating to make sure the lamp is suitable for your needs.
