Helikon Tex backpack RACCOON Mk2 Cordura® 20 l

The second generation of Helikon 's original Raccoon daypack offers a sufficient 20-liter capacity, high-quality 500D Cordura material, and a simple yet functional design suitable for outdoor and military activities.

The main compartment features a pocket for a hydration pack or a smaller laptop and an internal mesh pocket. A covered opening at the top provides an outlet for a camelback tube or electronic device cables. The smaller front compartment is equipped with an organizer pocket for your EDC (daily necessities). Both compartments of the pack are accessible via high-quality two-way YKK zippers, covered with a flap to prevent unwanted water ingress, and feature a drain hole at the bottom. The sides and front of the pack feature PALS/MOLLE attachment points for attaching compatible pouches. There's also a hook-and-loop patch panel on the front and a simple "strap" consisting of a threaded elastic cord for carrying a windbreaker, poncho , or wet socks. The pack is equipped with a pair of compression straps on each side and at the bottom of the pack. These not only allow the volume of the backpack to be adjusted to the equipment carried, but also provide an additional option for securing equipment such as a blanket or mattress . A sturdy carrying handle is located on the top of the backpack. The back of the backpack is reinforced with a plastic plate to prevent deformation when carrying bulky equipment. Furthermore, the back is padded with 3D foam to allow air circulation in the space between the user's back and the backpack. The backpack's shoulder straps are only lightly padded and feature an adjustable sternum strap, as it is intended to be worn overnight. Thanks to the Fastex buckles, the straps can be quickly released if necessary. The hip belt consists of a single strap with a Fastex buckle and is removable.
