Anders als der Altama Maritime Assault Boot wurde der Urban Assault für den täglichen Einsatz an Land entwickelt. Das Obermaterial besteht aus extrem abriebfesten und atmungsaktiven Flex Knit-Gewebe. Innen ist der Stiefel mit Air-Mesh gefüttert, welches hilft, Schweiß und Feuchtigkeit schnell vom Fuß abzuleiten. Die integrierte grob gestrickte Entlüftung ermöglicht zudem einen optimalen Luftstrom um den Fuß. Die herausnehmbare, antimikrobielle Innensohle aus Polyurethan dämpft Stöße und bietet eine hervorragende Energierückgabe für maximale Leistung. Die rutschfeste Laufsohle hat ein flaches, aber griffiges Profil und eignet sich auch optimal zum Klettern und Steigen von Leitern. Die griffige Gummilaufsohle, die ursprünglich für Kletterschuhe entwickelt wurde, erfüllt den ASTM F2913-17-Test auf Rutschfestigkeit.
