The basic first aid equipment includes a first aid pouch with bandages, a tourniquet to stop bleeding in the event of serious injuries and other emergency equipment such as scissors, gloves and disinfectants. These items are essential for the initial treatment of wounds and injuries.

For tactical operations, an extended emergency kit is suitable, which, in addition to standard dressing material, also contains special aids such as hemostatic agents (blood-stopping agents), pressure bandages, nasal cannulas to keep the airways clear and a robust rescue cut knife.

Consumables such as bandages and medications should be replaced when they reach their expiration date. Tourniquets and other aids should also be replaced if they are visibly damaged or after frequent use to ensure full functionality.
