Streamlight SIDEWINDER MILITARY

A compact and extremely robust flashlight, specially designed for military and tactical applications. Thanks to its low weight of only 140 g and length of 125 mm, the Sidewinder easily fills the role of a robust "tac-light" and offers optimal performance in its size class.
The housing is made of high-quality, impact-resistant polymer, making it particularly durable and weatherproof. Notched surfaces further improve grip. Thanks to the sealed construction and IPX7 protection class, the Sidewinder is waterproof up to 1 m for 30 minutes and shockproof up to 3 m.
The built-in polycarbonate lens features a scratch-resistant multi-coating that further improves light transmission.
The power and runtime depend on the LED used and the operating mode. Sidewinder operates in 5/25/60/100% and 100% strobe modes with a runtime of no less than 5.5 hours for white LED and up to 200 hours for IR and red LED. The military model is equipped with white, red, IR and blue LEDs.
Two alkaline or lithium AA batteries power the flashlight. The latter guarantee longer operation in environments with extreme temperatures. A metal cable secures the battery cover against loss and serves as a locking device. A rotary knob with push button allows for easy and smooth selection of the correct LED and power output.

• The water and shockproof housing allows use in water (splash-proof according to MIL-STD-810F, Method 512.4) and has a lanyard hole in the bottom.
• The rotary selector switch must be pulled out to turn it, this prevents accidental changes of the operating mode and allows the selection of four different lighting sources:

White (C4 LED, power; 45 lumens)
IR (LED, power 25mW/sr (min))
Red (LED, output 1 lumen)
Blue (LED, output 1.8 lumens)

• The brightness of the LEDs can be controlled individually by pressing the switch:

Low 5% (operating time approx. 70 hours),
Medium 25% (operating time approx. 28 hours),
Medium-High 60% (operating time approx. 9 hours),
High 100% (operating time approx. 5 hours),
Strobe function 100% (operating time approx. 9 hours).

• All functions can be operated and controlled using just one control element, even when wearing gloves.
• It is powered by 2 AA mignon cells, which are included in delivery. The use of 2 AA lithium cells (not included) is also possible and increases the lighting duration and the readiness for use in extreme weather conditions.
