The REVERSO 4 is a lightweight and multifunctional belay/rappelling device developed by Petzl.
Thanks to the robust design and aluminum construction, the product weighs only 57g without compromising its performance or durability. It is compatible with most rope diameters - dynamic single ropes from 8.5 to 10.5mm wide, half ropes from 7.1 to 9.2mm wide and twin ropes from 6.9 to 9.2mm wide.
The REVERSO 4 is easy to use - standard belaying techniques with one hand on the braking side of the rope are applicable. Controllable braking is possible thanks to the V-shaped friction surfaces. The descender does not twist the ropes and the additional safety rope limits the risk of dropping the device. Diagrams with rope installation for belaying or for Reverso mode are engraved on the product.
REVERSO 4 can be used for abseiling on one or two rope ends, while Reverso mode allows one or two climbers to be belay with braking assistance.
These technical solutions make the REVERSO 4 a reliable and versatile tool needed for climbing.
