What is a magnifier and what is it used for?

A magnifier is a magnifying lens that is mounted behind a reflex sight or red dot sight to enlarge the target image. It is mainly used in tactical and sports shooting to increase accuracy at medium distances without having to change the sight.

How does a magnifier work?

A magnifier is attached behind the red dot or reflex sight and offers a magnification of 3x to 6x, depending on the model. It can be turned on or off as required by swiveling or moving it, allowing you to switch flexibly between close and medium range.

What is the difference between a fixed and a swiveling magnifier?

A permanently mounted magnifier remains permanently behind the visor and always offers magnification. A pivoting magnifier can be folded to the side if necessary, allowing quick switching between magnified and unmagnified views.
