The RIG is a self-braking descender developed by Petzl for climbing and tactical applications. Its sophisticated design makes it easy and intuitive to use.
A rope guide and engraved markings help with rope installation. Two types of abseiling are available - primary via the side plate and secondary via the V-shaped friction channel.
The AUTO-LOCK system allows climbers to quickly position themselves without having to operate the handle or device. In the locked position, the RIG can be used in conjunction with FOOTAPE and ASCENSION as a short-term rope ascent system.
RIG can be used to lower heavy loads up to 200 kg.
Made from high quality polyester, aluminum and steel for exceptional durability and improved safety.
