Made from original Multicam 50/50 nylon-cotton ripstop fabric, the modern reinterpretation of the classic boonie jungle hat will be your reliable companion in temperate and warm environments. The fabric features a textile-technically advanced “near infrared” (nIR) treatment to improve the visual signature when viewed through a modern military night vision device.


design

While the classic shape of a boonie hat is retained, the head part is kept flat for a low profile. A mesh fabric is used all around, which allows for maximum air circulation. In the upper area there is a 50 x 50mm Velcro surface for attaching an IR-reflective patch. Around the hat we have used the same nylon-cotton material instead of stiff webbing. An elastic cord is sewn in concealed around the circumference, which allows for continuous adjustment of the size for a perfect fit. The selected size is retained by a stopper in the back area. The brim is kept extra narrow. All other features of the standard models, such as the chin strap or the neck cover, have been omitted. Functionality through simplicity.

The Pitchfork Boonie Hat is available in S/M (55-58 cm) and L/XL (59-62 cm).
