The housing is injection-molded from high-quality, impact-resistant polymer and is characterized by durability and weather resistance. Thanks to the robust design and IPX7 rating, Switch Rail is water and rain resistant.
Two ultrabright LEDs form the basis of the lamp - one IR and one red. Both produce a 10lm beam with a battery life of 36 hours.
Two batteries from 2016 supply the headlamp with power.
A button on the top is used to operate and switch between the headlamp's modes. The flashlight uses Princeton Tec's versatile mounting system. This solution allows attachment to PALS/Molle platforms, Picatinny rails and reverse rails.
