Vortex Optics RAZOR HD4000 YARD RANGEFINDER

Developed by Vortex Optics, the Viper HD 4000 is a high-precision, long-range laser rangefinder made from high-quality materials and advanced engineering solutions.
The housing is injection molded from high-quality, high-impact polymer for excellent durability and weather resistance. The weight of 280 g and dimensions of 111 x 43 mm make it a small and slim rangefinder.
The Viper HD operates in four target modes: Normal Mode, First Mode, Last Mode and ELR:

• "Normal Mode" is the default mode, which displays the result with the strongest distance estimate.

• The "First Mode" shows the shortest distance. It is ideal for measuring the distance to smaller objects in front of larger objects.

• The "Last Mode" shows the furthest distance to the target. It is particularly suitable for measuring the distance to the target behind trees, bushes or rocks.

• The "ELR mode" allows for the distance measurement of smaller objects that do not adequately reflect the laser beam to the greatest possible distance. A tripod or other external stabilization of the rangefinder may be required to determine the appropriate distance.

The additional HCD and LOS mode enables correct distance determination in uneven, hilly or mountainous terrain.
The 25mm HD objective glass features an ultra-hard, scratch-resistant and reflective ArmorTec® multi-layer coating. This protects the lenses from oil, dirt and possible physical damage during use. The maximum range measurement is estimated at 3657 m, 2286 m for trees and 2010 m for deer and similarly sized targets. The 7x magnification, the eye relief of 16-19 mm and the angle of view of 6.5° make the performance optimal in this class.
A single CR2A battery with a cap ensures operation and offers five brightness levels.
