Collection: Red dot sights

Most red dot sights have a mounting rail or bracket that should be compatible with the appropriate weapon rail (eg Picatinny or Weaver). It is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions to ensure a tight and secure mount.

Most red dot sights use button cell batteries, e.g. CR2032. Battery life can vary depending on model and brightness setting, but is often between 100 and 50,000 hours. It is advisable to check the batteries before long periods of use.

MOA stands for "Minute of Angle" and describes the size of the aiming point and the fineness of the adjustments on a sight. One MOA corresponds to about 2.54 cm at 100 meters. Here are some examples:

- A 1 MOA sight means that the aiming point is approximately 1 inch in diameter at 100 meters. This is ideal for precise shooting at longer distances.
- A 2 MOA sight has an aiming point of about 5 cm at 100 meters, which offers a good compromise between precision and target acquisition.
- A 3 MOA sight gives an aiming point of approximately 7.5 cm at 100 meters and is particularly suitable for quick aiming at shorter distances.

The smaller the MOA number, the more precisely you can aim; larger MOA numbers make it easier to acquire targets quickly.
