The Altama Maritime Assault Boot is the official amphibious combat boot of the US Navy SEALs and is suitable for all tactical water operations. With a fin-friendly fit, this boot is compatible with any diving fin used by militaries worldwide. The front of the boot features non-metallic drainage holes on both sides, allowing water to drain easily when the boot is flexed. The upper is made of highly abrasion-resistant and weather-resistant 1000D Cordura. The interior of the boot is lined with air mesh, which helps quickly wick sweat and moisture away from the foot. The removable Ultron® polyurethane insole absorbs shock and provides excellent energy return for maximum performance. It also resists water absorption, helping to keep feet dry. The non-slip outsole has a flat but grippy profile and is also ideal for climbing and climbing (boarding) ladders. The outsole's special rubber compound was originally developed for climbing shoes and modified for amphibious operations. SEAL Rubber is currently one of the stickiest, highest-traction rubber compounds on the market.
