Unlike the Altama Maritime Assault Boot, the Urban Assault was designed for everyday use on land. The upper is made of highly abrasion-resistant and breathable Flex Knit fabric. The interior of the boot is lined with air mesh, which helps quickly wick sweat and moisture away from the foot. The integrated chunky knit vent also allows for optimal airflow around the foot. The removable, antimicrobial polyurethane insole absorbs shock and provides excellent energy return for maximum performance. The slip-resistant outsole has a low-profile yet grippy tread, making it ideal for climbing and ladder climbing. The grippy rubber outsole, originally developed for climbing shoes, meets the ASTM F2913-17 slip resistance test.
