BERGHAUS backpack MMPS VULCAN V 100L CEDAR

Vulcan V - the fifth generation of the proven backpack, introduced in several European armies. The simple, robust design and durable materials ensure a long service life, even in the harsh conditions of military use. Removable side pockets and compatibility with accessories from the MMPS collection allow the backpack to be adapted to the specific needs of the user or the requirements of the mission.

In terms of design, this is a classic expedition backpack with filling at the top and bottom and the ability to divide the main compartment into top and bottom thanks to a drawstring. The upper entrance is equipped with a lid with a large external pocket and straps for attaching e.g. an auto-ratchet. The lower entrance is secured by a two-way zipper covered with a flap. In the main chamber of the backpack there is a compartment for a hydration pack and two loops for attaching accessories from the FLT collection (Fight Light Pack System) . The front of the backpack is equipped with PALS/MOLLE bindings, loops for ice axes and a second carrying handle, which greatly facilitates the handling of a full backpack. On the sides of the backpack (under the side pockets) there are compression straps and adjustable straps threaded into loops made of rubber textile.

The backpack has two removable MMPS side pockets (10 liters each) secured with two solid zippers. The bag itself can be used as a simple 10-liter backpack or you can clip them together and use them as a 20-liter backpack. The backpack comes complete with carrying straps for these bags.

The Cyclops II back system offers maximum comfort, even when the backpack is heavily loaded. This is particularly supported by the massive, heavily padded hip belt with patented BergBuckle buckle and anatomically shaped straps. The back system is available in three sizes for different back lengths (not adjustable), see table below.
