The lightweight and stable Makra Pro Lady GTX MID trekking boot features a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane and durable Perwanger leather upper. A combination of PU, TPU, and EVA is used for the lightweight yet exceptionally stable midsole. PU in the heel – with an integrated TPU crampon overlay – ensures perfect cushioning, while EVA in the forefoot area ensures precise acceleration. The Vibram® Makra outsole offers excellent grip. A dream team! The "Hanwag 2 Zone Lock" with a mechanical clamp ensures improved heel hold. Unlike a conventional clamp hook, the mechanical clamp locks reliably and cannot slip once fastened – without manual intervention. A feature of the Makra family is the optimized Ghilly lacing system extending to the toe area – with the laces pulled through textile loops. This ensures good foot hold even in the front area. The Alpine Wide last offers a slightly wider forefoot area for more comfort - but this does not compromise the shoe's climbing performance or precision when starting.
