The Meindl Peru features a soft, lower ankle cut for maximum comfort. The Peru GTX is a 3-season boot with a waterproof and breathable Goretex lining. The premium waxed nubuck upper offers protection and durability for any terrain. Technical features include a dual-density sole for good shock absorption, a softer compression zone at the rear of the boot to reduce pressure on the Achilles tendon when descending, and a soft, low-cut cuff for maximum comfort. The Meindl Peru GTX has a Meindl Category B rating for extended and demanding hikes, even on poor trails and climbs in low mountain ranges and easy alpine terrain.
