Grids are ballistic, low-profile glasses developed by Wiley X to provide superior eye protection for sports shooters, outdoor and law enforcement.
The lenses are extruded, cut and heat formed from a shatter-resistant Selenite™ polycarbonate. The lenses are then coated with a scratch-resistant and anti-fog hard coating to increase resistance to grazing and surface damage. It also guarantees 100% UVA and UVB protection with distortion-free clarity. The clear lens offers 89% light transmission and natural color rendering. It is best suited for use in low light conditions and at night.
The reinforced frame and temples are injection-molded from Tryloid™ nylon and anatomically shaped to improve comfort. The material used makes the glasses lightweight and exceptionally durable. The Facial Cavity Seal is responsible for blocking out dirt, dust and peripheral light. The additional rubber elements on the temple tips reduce fatigue and increase grip.
