The Omega glasses are a stylish and lightweight pair of sunglasses designed by Wiley X for excellent eye protection during sports, outdoor activities and everyday wear.
Captivate™ lenses are extruded, cut and heat formed from a shatter-resistant Selenite™ polycarbonate. The lenses are then coated with an oleophobic, scratch-resistant and anti-reflective hard coating to increase resistance to striation and surface damage. Captivate™ lenses provide clear colors and bright details with significant glare reduction and vision protection. They also offer 100% HEV, UVA and UVB protection with distortion-free clarity. The mirrored green tint lenses provide 12% light transmission, absorb colors evenly for correct hue perception and eliminate reflections. They are best suited for use in high light intensity and lighting and during the day.
The reinforced frame and temples are injection-molded from Tryloid nylon and anatomically shaped to improve comfort even during long-term wear. The material used makes the glasses lightweight and exceptionally durable. Wide temples block out peripheral light and reduce the risk of solid objects getting caught under the sunglasses. The Kryptek® Neptune pattern has been applied to the frame and temples for a unique look.
