Ozone is a stylish and lightweight pair of sunglasses designed by Wiley X for superior eye protection during sports, outdoor activities and everyday wear.
Captivate™ lenses are extruded, cut and heat formed from a shatter-resistant Selenite™ polycarbonate. The lenses are then coated with an oleophobic, scratch-resistant and anti-reflective hard coating to increase resistance to smears and surface damage. Captivate™ lenses provide clear colors and bright details with significant glare reduction and eye protection. They also offer 100% HEV, UVA and UVB protection with distortion-free clarity. The darkened lenses provide 15% light transmission, absorb colors evenly for correct color perception and eliminate reflections. They are best suited for use in strong light and lighting and during the day.
The reinforced frame and temples are injection-molded from Tryloid nylon and anatomically shaped to improve comfort even during long periods of wear. The material used makes the glasses lightweight and exceptionally durable. The integrated Air Intake Regulator™ prevents peripheral light, contaminants and solid objects from getting under the glasses. Thanks to the improved air circulation, fogging of the lenses is also reduced. The additional rubber elements on the temple tips reduce fatigue and increase grip.
